Finch & Lane Grand Opening

Finch & Lane are a new interior furnishings boutique in Malvern. They have just opened their doors. Their specialties include bespoke furniture, lighting, textiles, and décor which they present alongside rare and stunning framed movie posters. The look is one of style and luxury but also simplicity and light. I was very excited to be invited to their launch!

After enjoying many yummy canapés and some delicious Champagne with my good friend Souri from Fresh Photography, we settled into some comfy chairs to hear more about this new brand. Interior designer Bek Sheppard shared her insights with us about how Finch & Lane pieces add warmth and elegance to different homes and spaces in different ways. It was also interesting to hear that Finch & Lane use American Oak for much of their furniture, which they source from a certified sustainable forest in North Carolina. Furthermore, they use Belgian linen as their material of choice in many of their soft furnishings. I hadn’t realised that linen is 30% stronger than cotton, and that it takes comparatively less water and fewer chemicals to grow and process. Hearing form the owner Stephanie, it was clear that environmental concerns have been close to the hearts of all involved in bringing this beautiful furniture to life. The cinema history in the form of giant artworks was really impressive and David spoke passionately about how he has been an avid collector for many years.
