Kiehl’s Chadstone Grand Opening
Ever seen an unexpected skeleton peering at you from inside a storefront? You might be passing a new Kiehl’s boutique! Kiehl’s began as a homeopathic pharmacy back in 1851 in the East Village of New York City. As a modern day skin care specialty store it still has the ‘apothecary vibe’ throughout its international stores. This has certainly been carried over to its new Chadstone boutique which just had its grand opening. As with all Kiehl’s stores, a rather friendly looking, bespectacled skeleton greets newcomers at the door. I wouldn’t actually ask the skeleton for skincare advice though, as it doesn’t have any. It was clear, however, that the living and breathing staff pride themselves on their knowledge of different skin types. Furthermore, they enjoy talking about their famous products and delight in helping people find the exact product they need. It was lovely to be invited to Kiehl’s Chadstone opening event for the evening!
Considerable care has been taken to decorate the space effectively, and all the labels have an old world chemist feel about them, too. The crowd was excited to try new (and old) treatments whilst sampling the scrumptious little cupcakes. It was nice to catch up with some friends over a few glasses of sparkling wine! The music was provided by the amazing Elle Graham and a quartet of extraordinarily talented a capella singers. A thoughtful little gift bag of goodies topped off a lovely evening. Thank you Kiehl’s – it was fantastic to celebrate with you… all the very best to the new Chadstone team!
